## Potentiation

The powers in which the base is a decimal number and the exponent a natural number follow the same rules of this operation, already defined. Like this:

(3,5)^{2} = 3,5 · 3,5 = 12,25

(0,64)^{1} = 0,64

(0,4)^{3} = 0,4 · 0,4 · 0,4 = 0,064

(0,18)^{0} = 1

## Square root

The square root of a decimal number can be easily determined by turning it into a decimal fraction. Like this:
